Chapter №1: I beg you — help!!
The letter began with these words from Belarus from mom of 9-year-old boy Igor Dybalja. The mother of the sufferer was called Nina Fedorovna. She was only 32 years old from birth. Had this unfortunate woman ever thought, had she ever guessed, that the child whom she and her husband so passionately wished for would be born into this world for awful sufferings!… The necessity of treatment of the allergy by method Buteyko could not come to her even in a dreadful dream. An allergy! Many, many children soon enough get acquainted with this awful word. But acquaintance is different.
At one baby it is only small spots on the body at three years. Another, you look, at five years suddenly begins to scratch, as if from berries from the market. The third by ten years already cannot stand household dust. It happens differently in children (and in adults). People suffer from allergy in different ways. But at Igor everything was much more terrible. Literally from seven months the child began to experience an intolerable itch. Year after year this wild allergy increased. Nina Fedorovna had a very good husband. Another would probably have long ago abandoned both the unfortunate mother and such a sick son. No! Anatoly, together with his wife, gritting his teeth, struggled to save the child. What they did not attempt! Which allergists they did not visit… But there was no relief from the illness. Igor grew up. They gave him various tests. For pollen of this grass, for pollen of that… They did tests for food allergens. It turned out that the boy could not even tolerate beer honey. The life of the mother of the sick child became more and more difficult. Nights turned into a continuous nightmare for both Nina Fedorovna and Igor. Nina already began to forget when she last slept peacefully in bed with her husband…
